Big Weekend was our fall retreat this year held at Camp Tadmor. This was an exciting weekend you did not want to miss.  This year featured our special guest speaker Sam Baker as well as a TON of fun games, wild activities, rope swing, music, food and more! Our Speaker:

 Sam Baker 

 Sam is a professor of Student and Family ministries at Corban College in Salem, Oregon.   Has been married to his wife Alyson since 1986. They have two daughters, Courtney and Katie. "We also have a dog named “Cozmo” - I’ll leave it to you to guess his breed…?  In my spare time I enjoy playing as much golf as possible, reading, hangin’ with my girls, spending time with students outside of class, and all kinds of sports and recreation activities."   You will enjoy hearing from Sam during Big Weekend!

Q: Where is Big Weekend held at?
A: Camp Tadmor which is at 43943 McDowell Creek Dr | Lebanon, OR they have a website you can visit at http://www.tadmor.org 

Q:How much does Big Weekend cost, are there any scholarships?
A:Big weekend only cost $55.  Because of the support from various donors we are able to provide such a great weekend at such a low cost.  However during these difficult financial times some may have difficulties.  If you need financial assistance please contact Mary Weeks in the church office at 503-581-3680 or mweeks@salemnaz.org  She will be glad to let you know what scholarships we have available.

Q: How well is this event staffed?
A: We usually have a staff of 20 who give leadership at the retreat.  Students are never left alone and are always supervised.

Q: What should I bring?
A: Students stay in dorm style housing.  You need a sleeping bag, pillow, or blankets.  Clothes that can get dirty.  You'll also want to bring a flash light and for sure a BIBLE.;
